Personal Accomplishments

Mike Glowacki began his association with music during his childhood. Private lessons, along with the available music programs offered in Grade School, Middle School and High School, were instrumental in building his life-long passion for Music. After his graduation from De La Salle High School, it was on to a two-year Piano Technology Apprenticeship with Dr. Grafton Beasly. While studying with Dr. Beasly, Mike's love of music would grow. It soon became the focus of his life when, in 1976, he opened Bridgeport Music Studio. " To give to others, the gift of Music " defines the reason behind his continuing education and is the driving force found in one of his private lessons.

Under the auspices of Dr. Josette Behrend, at Vandercook College of Music, Mike received specialized training centered around the Piano and Music Composition. After completing the remainder of his core classes, he would transfer to St. Xavier University to study Organ Pedagogy from Mr. Harry Krush & Ms. Melody Lord (whom now performs for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra). After graduation, Private Music Lessons while teaching Music and Computers in Chicago's Private Schools would occupy the next Ten Years.

Mike now works as the full-time Music Director at St. Gerald Parish located in Oak Lawn, Illinois. His spare time is spent pursuing his passions: Teaching his love of Music, Rebuilding and Tuning Acoustic Pianos and Performing at various events throughout the Chicago-land Area (MG Entertainment)
